1. Description of Service
The Auto Print provides a cloud-based remote printing solution that automates order printing for WooCommerce stores. The Service acts as a bridge, routing transaction details and document files from your WooCommerce store through our external servers (https://theautoprint.com) to your configured local printing hardware or designated third-party channels (such as our Telegram Print Bot).
2. External Service & Data Transmission (Crucial for WordPress.org Compliance)
To perform remote printing, this plugin must connect to our external cloud servers.
- Data Transmitted: By using this Service, you authorize our plugin to securely transmit store data, order invoices, packing slips, customer address labels, and file attachments to our API.
- Consent: Data is only transmitted when a print-related action is triggered (such as a new order being placed, status changes, or a document being forwarded to the Telegram bot).
- Data Retention: We do not permanently store your printed files on our cloud servers. Once a print job is successfully processed, delivered, or expired, the temporary document payload is automatically purged from our system in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
3. Subscription Plans, Quotas, and Fees
- Account Requirement: To use the Service, you must register for an account and obtain an API Key from our dashboard.
- Free and Paid Tiers: We offer both free tiers (with monthly print job limits) and paid premium subscriptions.
- Quota Limits: If you exceed your monthly print quota, the Service will return an
HTTP 429 (Too Many Requests)status, and subsequent print jobs will be queued or rejected until your billing cycle resets or you upgrade your plan. - Refunds: Refund policies for premium upgrades are governed by our billing portal guidelines.
4. Fair Use & Rate Limiting
To ensure the stability and security of our cloud network for all merchants, we enforce strict rate limits on our API endpoints:
- You agree not to abuse, spam, or attempt to destabilize the printing API with automated high-frequency requests.
- Any merchant found deploying malicious scripts, infinite print loops, or attempting to bypass quota restrictions will have their API key and account suspended immediately without a refund.
5. Limitation of Liability
- No Guarantee of Hardware Compatibility: While we support most standard thermal, inkjet, and laser printers, we do not guarantee compatibility with all hardware setups.
- Print Failures: The Auto Print is not responsible for missed, failed, or delayed print jobs caused by local internet outages, printer hardware malfunctions, or paper jams.
- Indirect Damages: In no event shall The Auto Print be liable for any loss of business, lost profits, or operational delays resulting from the use or inability to use our software.
6. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time to reflect software updates or legal requirements. Continued use of the plugin after updates are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
